In Net Work Louisville classes, youth and young adults explore 21st century careers, learn workplace skills, and develop the capacity to work in teams on complex problems. Sponsors at all levels can help students with:
- Team supplies for a project or challenge that teaches problem solving, innovation, and communication skills.
- Supporting a work simulation class in which students learn about every phase of employment from job seeking to advancing in a career.
- Transportation, work clothes or other support needed as they begin their first job.
Net Work Louisville students need a bridge to the workforce due to academic gaps, homelessness, foster care or juvenile court system involvement, early parenting responsibilities, disabilities, or other issues that disconnect them from opportunities.
